Doha-based Qatar Airways has introduced online check-in for UK passengers, available up to 36 hours in advance on its flight from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
The new service, accessed through www.qatarairways.com, is open to passengers in all cabins up to two hours before departure and allows seat selection. Users can opt to print their own boarding pass or have it sent to their mobile phone in barcode format.
The tool was launched as part of a series of initiatives being introduced by the airline to speed up the check-in process. Qatar Airways, one of only six airlines ranked as five-star by Skytrax, operates services to 83 destinations worldwide from its Doha base.
